Who I am
My name is Koren Chaisson and I have been a practicing therapist since graduating in 2020 with my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I have been working with children for my entire professional life and have been employed with the Public Schools Branch since 2010. I have been in the role as Souris Regional School K-6 School Counsellor in 2020 and opened this private practice in 2021 to help provide services to my rural community. Within my private practice I support both children and adults as they move towards creating improvement in their daily lives.

This is a client-centered practice where we will work together to identify problem areas and develop strategies to improve the quality of your life. We can explore the issues that have been holding you back and also build skills to help you overcome hurdles that have been overwhelming. My holistic approach focuses on the whole person and promotes alignment with your values while supporting you becoming your most authentic self.

Being able to have the awareness of self, understand what inspires you to move forward, as well as what holds you back can help you create a life that is more satisfying and fulfilling.

I am a registered counselling therapist which allows me to be covered under different health plans. My counselling hourly fee is $100.
